At Rogue Wave Marketing, we are all about supporting those who are in our community! Therefore, we decided to be a sponsor of Wagging for Wishes that The Dog Nest is hosting on May 21st!
Wagging for Wishes is an event that the owner of The Dog Nest, Glenn Derby, decided to host after being inspired and touched by Kaden Stark’s story. Kaden Stark is a young boy who received his Make-A-Wish to go to Disney World. This wish was so impactful to Kaden and his family that they wanted to give back to other children with life-threatening conditions and receive their one true wish.
Kaden, unfortunately, passed away in 2019 after helping grant over 60 wishes. Today his family still carries on his legacy of “Doing More” by helping grant 140 wishes. The Stark’s new goal, in honor of Kaden, is to grant 1000 wishes.
This year will be their 2nd annual Wagging for Wishes event! The event consists of a fundraising dog walk, vendors, activities, and competitions! There will also be a Pup-arazzi (photobooth for you and your pup) and a costume contest (best dressed wins a prize)!
